This route was the second last in the Cairngorms. In the perfect weather I made it within 12 hours (as I’d planned). I left The Devil’s Point aside on 1 September because of the lack of time, so this time I’d included it in my route. This meant crossing a pathless slope of Cairn Toul and climbing similarly pathless slope of Monadh Mor. It might be difficult (or even impossible) in hard weather conditions, but I was lucky enough. Passing this route means that there is just one more and I will bag all the Munros in the Cairngorms.
